Op Weg is a project exploring sustainable transportation at events in Amsterdam, bringing together event partners to discuss how mobility affects both events and the communities around them.
How can an identity accommodate diverse voices and ideas without relying on the familiar visual language of sustainability?
I developed a flexible visual system inspired by traffic signage, movement, and the different rhythms of conversation. At its core, modular stick figures in dynamic poses—walking, running, collaborating—are arranged in fluid lines that mimic a collective on the move.
The identity includes a wordmark, symbol system, presentation template, notebook publication, and a generative tool for creating and exporting symbol configurations for social and internal communication. The color palette draws high-visibility orange and light yellow accents into deep, night-transit grey backdrops.
